Many women are never happy with the state of their hair and I am no different. Sometimes, I find my hair becoming frizzy and I know it is time for some TLC. Of course, I have tons of hair products, but I find that many of them are not up to par. Women have different hair textures and so if you don’t know which product will successfully tame your curly hair, for example, then you will end up spending tons of money until you are able to find the right hair product. What about getting a few ingredients together and making your own healthy hair recipes? It is a great place to start.
Here are a few below that you can try:
Before you shampoo your hair, an oil treatment will provide moisturizing treatment to your hair since some shampoos can be quite harsh. This is especially true for shampoos with sulfates, which strip the hair of its natural oil. The pre-shampoo oil treatment provides a barrier to the harsh shampoo. You can try virgin olive oil, coconut oil or avocado oil or all combined.
Choose one or more of these oils and use 1/3 cup of each
4 drops of rose hip oil
Tablespoon grape seed oil
What to do: Blend all of the oils. Keep at room temperature or heat in a microwave. Apply to your hair. Put on a shower cap or plastic cap for an hour to get extra conditioning. Then shampoo. Your hair will feel healthy and soft.
