Many women are skimping on their beauty routine before going to bed and that is one of the most costly mistakes a gal could ever make. Your night beauty is ever so important. I don’t care how tired you are. If you neglect these for too long, it will show on you. Suddenly, you will look older than you would have wanted. You cannot afford to make that happen, girls! We have to keep up our look – fabulous divas that we are!

In the mornings, it is easy to go through your beauty ritual, but at night, for some reason, it becomes more like a chore. Why? Well, most women think that during the day is when they must look their best and so will commonly neglect the same treatment at night – lessening the importance.

Below are some beauty errors that my gal pals are making at night. Please reconsider your actions.

Abandoning Your Neck

When you are taking care of the face, you should never ignore your neck. As you get older, the skin under the chin and neck becomes thinner. Its elasticity weakens and so results in wrinkles. When you are going to bed, use the night moisturizers and creams that you use on the face – on your neck as well.

Not Remembering To Wash

No, I don’t mean bathing – wouldn’t go there because I know that you do wash your body at night. I am talking about your face. You must wash your face EVERY NIGHT! Stop going to bed with makeup on! You are going to regret it later. Your pores are going to be clogged, which will possibly make your skin break out and give you acne. I am sure you don’t want this to happen to you. The easy solution is proper cleansing of the face with a cleanser and water, wiping with a clean wash cloth. On the other hand, you don’t want to over wash the face. This will only strip the face of its moisture. Once in the morning and once at night is sufficient.

Snug Hairdos

If you have worn your hair in a ponytail or braids all day, it means that your hair has been tight all day. So why would you want to wear the same hairdo to bed? Doesn’t make sense, right? Loosen up your hair when going to bed. Too much tightness will damage the hair over time.

Sleeping On Your Stomach

You cannot stay in a single position while you sleep, but if you do sleep on your stomach, make sure it is not all night. It can make your eyes puffy for putting pressure on your face. Soon enough wrinkles will appear.

Bed Linen

Make sure you wash your bed linen including pillow cases at least once each week. Sleeping on them for long periods will result in bacteria-causing rashes and skin irritations.

Brush Your Teeth

You should always brush your teeth at night. Get into the habit of doing so to prevent cavities and dental problems.

Moisturize

As soon as you get out of the shower, you will definitely remember to use lotion because your skin will feel tight, but why do we gals choose to forget or ignore our moisturizers at night. You cannot afford to do this. Your skin will look healthier and vibrant in the mornings when you moisturize and hydrate before bed.
