I truly believe that all things are possible, but you have to believe in it first. If you have a business idea that seems impossible or you want to run a marathon and right now you can’t even get up the first five flights of stairs without running out of breath, don’t let that discourage you. All you need is some more time to make certain adjustments. The only thing that is stopping you from achieving the impossible is your belief system. Do you realize that? Once someone has already done it, you can also do it. And even if it hasn’t been done before, you can be the first one to do it.
It doesn’t matter how many people have told you that you can’t. You can prove them wrong. You already have the tools and resources around you to get it done. You just need to capitalize on your talents and connect with people who are excellent resources and motivation. Once you get the obstacles out of the way, you can do the impossible. It is certainly within reach. You need to be determined, passionate and have the ideal mindset.
How to Achieve the Impossible
First, you need to make a decision on what you want and begin with small steps to accomplish it. Make sure that the goals you set out to accomplish are practical. For example, if you want to run a marathon in six months, start by running a mile and time yourself. Next time, run that mile in less time and it will motivate you to continue.
Secondly, you need to become inspired. Find someone who has already done what you want to do. Research how it was done and find out the things that motivated and encouraged them throughout the process. Create a vision board with what you want to accomplish and look at it every day to stay inspired.
Thirdly, go do it. Take action. Your vision board cannot do it for you. Of course, you are going to encounter obstacles, but this should only serve to teach you how to be patient and strong. Don’t make any excuses. Set deadlines and work to meet them. Take one step each day toward your goals. You may have to revise your goals because some things may change along the way. Don’t be too hard on yourself either.
Fourthly, be excited and don’t let fear dampen your spirits. Don’t avoid the fear. Use fear as a tool to motivate and propel you. Let the passion keep you going. Get negative thoughts out of your head and cheer yourself on.
Fifthly, go out and celebrate any accomplishments. You deserve it, even for the smallest triumph. Your hard work and ability to overcome the challenges is enough to celebrate.
What have you been passionate about doing, but feel it is impossible? Have you ever achieved the impossible in the past? Well, if so, you can do it again; whether the task is bigger or not.
