While we should all strive to be healthy, it can be really difficult!  If you’ve been struggling all summer but haven’t had the energy to switch up your lifestyle, now is the time girlfriends!  I’ve got all of the best tips to slip right into a healthier lifestyle that will change the way you eat, the way you think and the way that you look!  This is no longer about just weight loss, this is about changing up everything about your life.  Trust me on this one girls, you want to be healthier!


Change Your Diet

This is got to be one of the hardest things in the world that you’re gonna have to go through, but changing up your diet and eliminating a lot of the sugars and junk food and replacing it with good food is going to be hard.  You might want to still reach for the candy and chocolate and that’s okay – if you limit it to once in a while and if you limit it to very small amounts.  Moderation is key, however you do need to up your fruits and veggies too!


Get Active

While you might feel like walking to the mailbox is active enough, that’s not true!  You need to get out and walk, get out and run or even just take it to the gym.  Getting active doesn’t have to be five days a week at the gym, just change up your lifestyle a little bit.  Take the stairs instead of the elevator at work, take a few walks around the block so that you can get some activity in.



Vitamins are something that all of the us need, but a lot of us don’t take.  If you’re trying to get healthier, do some research and figure out exactly what vitamins might be good to take!  Also, if you want to build muscle, starting your day with a protein shake might be a great way to gain that muscle!


Drink Lots of Water

Finally girlfriends, you’ve got to drink water.  I know that it’s hard, but drinking water is something that your body needs and something that you’ve got to do.  Do you know that we are made up of a lot of water?  Well, when you sweat, you are getting that water out of your body, so it needs to be replaced.  Also, it cleanses everything – so why not just up your water intake to even a few glasses a day?
