If you don’t have a purpose in life, you are going to be confused as to the path that you should take. In fact, if you don’t stand for something, you will go for anything. Have you ever heard that saying? What we achieve in life has to do with our primary focus. If you put emphasis on the wrong things, the result will be wrong. Are you aware of what you are focusing on each minute of the day? Is your mind on things that you desire and not just need? Do you really know exactly what you desire? Are you drawn to negative thoughts more than positive ones?

As a transformation coach, I have come to realize that many people don’t know what they want from moment to moment. Some haven’t given it much thought and others are too busy with reaction to the created thoughts. When they are not fighting battles of the mind, they are fleeing from it or frozen in action by it. Especially in times that we go through challenges, we tend to focus on what we don’t really want. Sometimes, we are not aware that this is what we are doing until it is too late.

Know What You Want

When you know what you desire, it becomes significant enough that you will pursue it until you accomplish it. It propels you into action and the door of awareness and understanding begins to open up where you get creative and begin to emerge as a winner. You have clear goals and are not indecisive. At that time, you will begin to move in the direction of your purpose. You stop wasting time and instead of procrastinating, you take the right actions and react to situations differently. You now have the power and control over your life and can quickly change the way you think and feel.

What You Get

If you focus on the wrong things, then that is what you will attract in your life. For example, if your desire was to become a nurse and that is all you could think about, soon enough, you may start to get letters in the mail about nursing degrees or you may see an ad on television that reminds you of your desire. Once you begin to take action by calling the number displayed, the process will begin and you will start to create your destiny.

Keeping your focus on becoming a nurse is going to fulfill those dreams and only you can do it. No one else can do it for you. You are in control of what happens in the end. You are directing your energy toward being a nurse and this energy is going to help you to experience the reality. This is how the law of attraction works. When you focus on your desires, your whole mind and body will adapt to it.

The more we focus on lack of money, bad relationships or  being sick, these things become dominant in our thoughts and then seem to take on a life of their own; seeping into our reality. Don’t waste your thought and focus on what may be currently going on in your life. Think about looking forward to something better. Nothing last forever – not even your problems.
